Saints

Abstract

This book is confined to illustrations of symbols used in the Church, along with identification and brief notes relative to color or traditional legends. Canon West has furnished the colors suggested as well as some of the designs. Space permits only one illustration for each saint, though there are usually several symbols by which that saint is known. It is the purpose of this book to acquaint the reader with these emblems and relate them to fact or legend in simple terms.
